It's winter!!

We woke up this morning to snow showers. This was completely lost on Eden because she was still asleep and it would have been lost on me had Cam not woken me up.....at 7am to look out the window. It was very pretty. Anyhow, it spurred us to pull out our winter caps.

Eden is most smiley in the morning. It's hard to get her to smile in front of the camera...

I love my toys!

Eden has definitely taken a liking to her playmat. She spends more and more time on her tummy and can hold her head up and also do a mini push-up.


She also loves the night time waterfall soother that Aunt Diana got for her. It like a movie screen for her crib.

Out to dinner

We took Eden out to the Ale House one night, it was the first time out for dinner with her. She did really well, we were able to eat without her needing too much attention.
She looks like an Asian baby in the first picture and in the second, it looks like Cam really surprised her by taking her picture!

My Two Month Birthday!

Eden turned 2 months old on Saturday November 15th. To celebrate, we dropped her off at Papa and GG's and headed off to the NCSU v. Wake Forest football game. We had a great time celebrating for her and for State's win, it looks like Eden had a good time too with her Aunts and grandparents....GG even made her a cake (of course!).

Nana visits!

Nana stopped by Sunday afternoon to see Eden....

Happy Halloween!!

Cam carved a pumpkin this year, winning the annual contest by default. Eden wasn't too thrilled about the holiday....until we danced into the wee hours of the morning to the Widespread Panic show that was aired over the web. Mom and Dad were thrilled to be able to have Eden hear her first show (outside of the womb) and to have it be a Halloween show (although the set list was a tad disappointing!)

Right at 5 weeks, Eden started smiling a lot and started enjoying laying on her play mat. I think her vision got better this week.

First Road Trip!

We went to Charlotte to visit our friends Mike, Britta, Reagan and Grier Patterson the weekend of Oct 26. Cam and Mike went to a Panthers game on Sunday while the girls hung out and played. Grier and Eden are 6 months apart in age. Eden had a really great time "playing" with Grier, check out the video!
