Lunch time, no...naptime?

Beach weekend fun!!

After having such a great time at the beach for the 4th of July, we decided it would be nice to take the kids back to the beach once more before the cold weather settled in.  We made a trip to Emerald Isle and had a fabulous time!!

Now that Eden is walking, it was a whole different experience for her.  She wasn't face down in the sand and could really enjoy being out on the beach (for an hour or so).

She didn't really eat too much sand, but she did lick the salt water off of her hands whenever she could.

The waves were great for the "big" kids.  We were lucky that there weren't any hurricanes churning off of the shore.




It'll probably be a few years before Eden masters the skim board.

We spent one morning at the NC aquarium.  Eden REALLY enjoyed it!!!  She was running from one exhibit to the next pointing and yelling, "oooh, ooooh!".

It was by far, the best $16 we have spent in a long time!!

Definitely going back to the aquarium when we get the chance!!

Happy 1st birthday!

Sweet Eden, Mommy and Daddy love you more than anything in the world. You are such a wonderful, beautiful, bright and happy child. You have brought us so much happiness this year. Happy birthday Eden!

Apparently, Alex has had a crush on Eden for awhile. Now that he is somewhat mobile, he was able to finally make a move on Eden...

The FIRST first birthday party!

Well, Eden is charging into her first year...with a few necessary pit-stops along away.

I attempted to make Eden a butterfly cake.

Which she got to dig into after she opened her gifts...

We also celebrated Cassidy and Cameron's birthdays.
