Wedding and weekend fun

We had a really great time at our friend, Heather's wedding.  Heather and Andy got married at Lake Montague March 28.  It was Eden's first wedding, and she did a lot better than we expected...considering the wedding started right at naptime.

Eden and I were both very excited to hear that she could go for stroller rides.  We took a couple of turns around the neighborhood and got some fresh air.

Eden received a beautiful bouquet of flowers from her friends at my office.  She also got a balloon that has made eating time fun.  She also got a soft bear, which she has been playing with non-stop.

Amy and her kids and Megan and her kids came into town to celebrate Tristan and Ashton's birthday.  Brayden also got a few things from GG and Papa, including his new cowboy gear!!

Fun & games

Eden has been enjoying playing hide and seek lately.  Cam was crawling around the bed playing with her on this particular day.

Saturday night, I hosted game night.  We played dominos and drank martinis.

Stacey, Georgia, Caroline, Sue, Donnise and Rae all came to play. It was a lot of fun!!

Fun in February

Eden has a whole new attitude this month...

She thinks she is something else....I think she picked up this attitude from her cousins, especially the boys... :)

 Brian brought the kids to visit while Megan was out west on a ski trip.  We had a great time hanging out with them.  Earlier in the day, Peyton and Cam were rocking out, playing Guitar Hero.  Cam let Peyton play one song...at least he let her play, right?

I made Eden's first "real" food that weekend.  We decided to try sweet potatoes first.  Since then, we've tried butternut squash which made her gag.  I wish I had gotten it on video!

We had a fabulous three day weekend, filled with good food, long walks and a trip to the museum.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day!!

Eden celebrated her first Valentines day at school this year.  Unfortunately, she was one of the few whose parents didn't get involved and give out Valentine's Day gifts to all of her classmates.  Cam and I didn't even think about getting gifts for Eden's "classmates".  I guess we're off to a bad start as far as being involved parents goes....I was quite surprised to see all of her loot when she came home from school.

To celebrate the actual Valentine's Day, we decided to go to the Museum of Life and Science in Durham.  My company donated some equipment to their labs and so we had free entrance on Valentine's Day.  We took Eden to see the wildlife, like the turkeys...

Afterwards, we stopped by Aunt Julie and Uncle Craig's house to see their new dog Lily.  All of the kids were there, including Madison...

I think this has been my best Valentine's day EVER!!!
